The best snack around!

 

We don’t have a dehydrator thinger yet so we have real simple snacks and lately its all carrots and apples for us!

Mum says its super important to eat ALL the carrot ESPECIALLY THE LEAFY HEAD!!

we eat the carrot and mum puts the carrot leaf in our morning smoothies with everything else.

Mum says some genius named Markus  Rothkranz says the nutrients are all in the leaves so we make sure we NEVER throw out or compost the leaves it all goes in the smoothies!

here’s Wednesday trying a few, she says they’re all “alicious”.

For Mums & Dad’s – so you know we’re getting the good stuff!

I don’t like needles I don’t like blood tests or going to the doctors or naturopath we don’t go there very much but we used to get our blood checked a fair bit to make sure we were getting all the things we need. Now my Nana knows we can be healthy this way mum just keeps an eye on what were eating. Here is a good site to help you see what your putting in your machine. You just click on the food you eat and put in how much and it tells you roughly what vitamins and minerals you have or need more of its super easy too use.

3 – 4 Ripe bananas

1 handful of raw nuts (Brazil and Cashew are great for smoothies ).

1 Dry Fig ( or a handful of dates we ran out of them so substituted with one Fig)

Tea spoon of organic vanilla

1 stalk of celery

Fist Full of Kale

1 cup of frozen berries ( we used raspberries)

4 cups filtered water
